Fraudulent Business
I attempted to book a stay at Ladera for my honeymoon which turned out to be a huge mistake that I've been dealing with for several months. They double-charged my credit card for the deposit and then denied doing so, conveniently claiming "we have no record of the second charge." It is extremely difficult to dispute this type of fraud with the credit card company because it's your responsibility to provide evidence that you didn't authorize the second charge since you did authorize the first. Ladera will try to steal your money. They tried to ruin my honeymoon- don't let it happen to you. We ended up staying at Jade Mountain which was beautiful.
Fraudulent Business
I have stayed at Ladera in St. Lucia about four times over the years. It is by far the most spectacular hotel I have ever stayed in (I have travelled quite a bit). The food is delicious, the swinging chairs within our own personal pool were very romantic, friendly staff, wonderful massage and not to mention the chef made me a birthday cake from scratch made with real cocoa which was completely mouthwatering. This place is ideal for any situation as long as you enjoy relaxing and taking in the breathtaking view. No complaints whatsoever. I have no idea why I have found some reviews online that aren't 100% impressed. I have stayed four times at Ladera and everytime it has been irreplaceable and phenomenal. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
