Fourth Time Here and Coming Back
We like this resort as you can tell by the title we have vacationed here for the last four years for a week every December. We are unsure we want to try any other resorts since this resort has it all. (We would not want to be disappointed if elsewhere was anything less) The staff is great and we always received upgrades and anything we ever needed in our room immediately. The food over all is fantastic there would be something wrong if you couldn't find things you really like. The bars are fun and the bartenders are friendly and always ready to serve you. The shows fun, entertaining and the performers are pretty good at what they do. They also make everyone welcome from what ever country you are from. The beach is big and clean there are areas that are rocky but many that are not too. there are bars on the beach and it is quick and easy to get drinks anytime. The fun team is great and get many involved in the ton of activities scheduled daily. Overall you cannot go wrong staying at this beautiful resort you will not be disappointed.
Fourth Time Here and Coming Back
My husband and I have been taking a couple of ""trips"" each year wherein we are on the move all the time with activities like skiing or site-seeing such as museums. This was our first vacation where we would just relax and we couldn't have picked a better place! We loved the beach, the opportunity to eat excellent food whenever we were hungry, to be able to sleep in or nap during the day under the shelters... It was wonderful and we can't wait to come back. The staff was consistently polite and gracious and the grounds are beautiful. We loved the flamingos!
Excellent Resort
We had the best time ever! Can't wait to go back! The beach and water were beautiful. The bartenders were a lot of fun. The staff was friendly, the service was great. We had a hard time finding our way around the first day though.
An absolute paradise. We were treated like gold by staff and made sure we gave lots of 1 and 2 dollar tips. Comfortable beds, beach and pools were gorgeous. Snorkelling free for 1 hr/day. Marble everywhere & beautifully manicured gardens. Lots of great restaurants. Food was A+, Terrific bartenders-drank lots. Trains took you all over this huge resort. Entertainment could have been a little better, some of the shows seemed to be repetitive, but it was alright. Overall, one of the best vacations I have ever been on. Would highly recommend.
Huge - beautiful grounds - too big? We usually like a place more intimate. Food overall great: Beach bar food needs improvment; the Japanese restaurant just ok if you are a sushi freak; Buffet nice with lots of variety. Entertainment - was a glorified recital. Beach - fabulous! Bars - nice but can't get a variety of liquors brands. House tequilla is all that most of them stocked. Rooms - nice, but can hear everything from other rooms and halls. Beds small and lumpy. Has a rental car location in the lobby - we rented a jeep to explore the ruins. Overall - great trip.
We loved the resort, the atmosphere couldn't have been better, everything was clean, and the staff was friendly. All of the food was great, and there was plenty of it! For such a large resort we were surprised that it didn't look over crowded. It was a quiet, relaxing vacation with plenty to keep us busy. The resort had all filtered water including the sprinklers and hotel rooms, we drank lots of water and none of us were sick. I highly recommend this resort, couldn't have been better!
