Overlooking the Sea of Cortez, Barcelo Los Cabos Deluxe All Inclusive is located approximately 12 miles from Los Cabos International Airport and within walking distance of downtown San Jose del Cabo. With its modern Mexican Hacienda-style architecture, the hotel is surrounded by gardens, giants palms, cascades, and waterfalls. For dining, there are the Chula Vista Restaurant (continental food buffet-style and nightly entertainment), Romanza Restaurant (Tuscan a la carte restaurant), and Tamarindo Restaurant (with traditional Mexican food). never again
I would not make plans to stay here if you are wanting to have a nice vacation. Luckily, we only reserved one night. The entire staff, from check in to wait staff were rude, unreliable and would actually walk away when you were talking to them. There was a slight mix up with details on checking in, but this hotel is not in business for their customer service. They simply would say that it was too bad that I did not clarify things before arriving on site. No attempts were made to settle problems when they came up. I feel I was overcharged, underserved, and not happy about staying in this hotel. The grounds were nice, but for the service you got, you may as well put your well paid dollar to good use at another hotel.

Great staff. Great location. Pool is awesome and clean. easy 20 minute drive to downtown cabo. food at resort too expensive for quality but there are enough great rest. in city it does not matter.

I wish I could fit it all. Horrible from the minute we got there. Dirty rooms, dirty pools, too much construction, horrible food. AND management is so rude! If you complain they love telling you ""I don't believe you"". I would love to tell you more about this horrible stay! NOt enough space here.
The best feature of the hotel is that it is located on a beautiful beach. The hotel itself is very tired - our door to our room was broke, the elevator did not work and a lot of the chairs around the pool were broke. A nice surprise was the food served at the outside dinning was good. You will need a car - not much happening by the hotel.
Spent 4 nights in an ocean front suite .Rooom was great as was the service.Everyone very accomodating Do not recommend the ocean view rooms. Food was average, but San Jose has many excellent restaurabts.The consigere was extrenmely helpful in finding them. The palapa covered Beach hammocks were a hit with my date, I preferred the sun
