Loved the resort!!

I loved this resort and everything it hadto offer. The view from the room was amazing. The pools seemed like you were right in the ocean. I hope to go back soon!

Over priced restaurants!! Almost 5 for can of coke. Not enough dining options, goes from too expensive to crazy expensive. 10 watered down margarita. Not a user friendly hotel, difficult to get around, stairs and hills everywhere. Adult pool very dirty. You could see the filth in the water. Very nice views of ocean but not much else.

The worst place in Cabo

My wife and I spent a long weekend here. We were not harrased about time-shares, which I gather can be a pain at other resorts. There is some construction going on, but far from the main hotel. Only complaint I would have is that we upgraded from a ""Partial Ocean View"" to a ""Full Ocean View"" and yet still seemed to only have a partial view. Your best bet would be to call ahead and ask for a room ""close to the middle of the arch"".

We were there when Hurricane John hit. The hotel staff treated us like royalty. We have never stayed at a finer resort. Beautiful grounds, pools, views, and excellent service. We recommend this resort for anyone wanting to 'get away from it all'. We'll be back, again, and again, and again!!!

The location of this hotel is spectacular, however right now there is construction going on, which meant listening to jackhammers all day long - every day except Sunday. I wish we had known before we went looking for a peaceful and quiet vacation. There were charges for everything, even 3.50 for awful coffee for the coffeemaker. Make sure to have a car and shop at the Mega in San Jose. Bring your earplugs until the construction is over.

The Westin is the worst hotel in Cabo...and I've stayed in most of them. The rooms are laid out funny with only partial views of the water, the food is completely inedible (I have never sent back so many meals in my life) and the layout of the hotel is completely un-user-friendly. To get to my room I had to take an elevator at the far end of the lobby down 2 stories, then walk down a long steep ramp for another story and then take another elevator up 9 more stories. In the Cabo desert heat it was no fun, and forget heels girls!
