ZAMAS is a small, beachfront resort on the Mexican Caribbean, about 5 kilometers south of the Tulum ruins., and 1 1/2 hours south of Cancun airport. Our bungalows are architecturally designed to reflect traditional Maya style, built with thatch roofs, hard woods, stucco and colorful tiles. They are comfortably furnished and feature private porches with hammocks. Our restaurant, Que Fresco has Mexican, Mayan and Italian cuisine featuring fresh seafood, sweet and smoky salsas and wood fired pizza. Vanity Fair Magazine says it's the place to eat while in Tulum.
