Amenities
Casa San Blas Boutique Hotel is a colonial home that has been restored and equipped with all the modern-day conveniences that you look for. A small, friendly hotel with views of Cusco from the rooftop terrace.

Poor location and very inconvenient
Hotel is not in downtown Cusco, but on slope in residential area. Streets around this hotel are narrow have steep slopes. Hotel does not provide a heater in room unless you ask for it. This hotel is not in downtown Cusco, but on slope in residential area. Streets around this hotel are narrow have steep slopes. Hotel does not provide a heater in room unless you ask for it. Hotel closed front door at 10pm, we had to knock front door and waited for security guard in the rain. Casa Andina hotel chain quotes hotel rooms in USD on its web site. Buyers be aware of this. If you prepay hotel on its web site, Casa Andina charges Peruvian Soles equivalent to USD on your credit card. My room was quoted at 193, but it showed up 215 on my credit card. Regular rooms are small, reasonable clean, but not warm. Its Andean Suite is in an attic, which does not have sufficient heaters. When I used its Jacuzzi, the whole suite lost power due to circuit break. In order to use free wireless internet I had to ask for user name/password every six hours. Its wireless strength is weak in most area. Later on we had a local travel agent recommending a different hotel. The hotel she arranged for us is much better and more convenient than Casa San Blas. I strongly suggest to stay in hotels in downtown Cusco and this hotel definitely is not recommended. By the way, I had diarrhea after I had its scrabble egg in breakfast. I mysteriously recovered after I checked out this hotel. Go figure.
