La Cima Hotel for surf travel
La Cima Hotel is very close to Ramey Airport on the northwest coast of Puerto Rico, making it very convenient for surfers looking to take advantage of the spots near the northwest corner from Aguadilla to Isabella. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and was located near several decent restaurants. It was very affordable, and convenient if you're looking for a good place to base your surf travel. If I wanted to surf Rincon, I'd probably want to stay near Rincon, as the traffic through Aguadilla is kind of thick and makes checking surf spots difficult. If you're specifically looking to surf Middles south to Gas Chambers, this is your spot. They've got high speed internet complimentary, which was great, and cold A/C, and decent beds. Be sure to get a junior suite, especially if you are two guys looking for a place to stay. If I was going to bring my wife or girlfriend to Puerto Rico and wanted to make an impression, I'd probably look to stay somewhere else...La Cima is very practical and no frills, which was fine for a solo surf trip.

Terrible experience....We arrive later in the night. Next day we came to front desk to ask for the pool purses. The manager came out from his office yelling at us and threatening with his hands(almost hit us) with a complete lack of respect attitude accusing us of trying to use the pool without a reservation. After discussion the trip was ruined . He apologized with my wifes family for his attitude. Anyway the pool had cigarette smell and a lot of drunk people drinking inside it and throwing ice. I don't recommend you to stay here.
This hotel is perfect if you want to getaway from everything. There are all types of entertainment, shopping malls and the treatment from the islanders is great.
