For shopping, there are plenty of choices, from high-end boutiques like Cartier, Gucci, and Christian Dior to local merchant crafts and souvenirs.The hotel offers amenities such as multilingual staff, outdoor pool, air-conditioning, , non-smoking rooms/facilities, smoke detectors, and Internet access. Great boutique hotel when on a budget
This is a great boutique hotel when you are looking for a simple & clean place to stay in the Condado area. You are close to all faclities (beaches, restaurants, etc), 15 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes away from the largest shopping mall in the Caribbean. The hotel is basic and could do with some ammenities such as an in room tea/coffee maker, mini fridge and towel holders, but it makes up in the areas of bed comfort, cleanliness and staff attention. The energy saving bulbs and modern interior decoration were certainly a plus for me as an environmentally consious traveler. The hotel however needs to get rid of those huge, noisy airconditioners. Le Consulat hotel is more like an appartment unit than a hotel, but discretely tucked away from the hussle and bussle of the area. In all: if you are looking for value for money and basically 'a place to hang your hat' go for this hotel.
