First off, the Condado Plaza down the street is a much better value and has breathtaking rooms and great service. The night we stayed only one of three elevators was working and there were at least 20 people waiting in a hot lobby to get up to the rooms. Then next thing me and my wife noticed was that the deafening music from the private party in the lobby comes very much into your room! More on that in a bit.... So then I find a random hair in my bed and I find out that this expensive room has a shower that backs up very quickly. Beautiful. So be prepared to get wet, turn off the shower to let it drain while you lather up and then rinse off at a later time when the water level has gone down some. Ok so the music...we called about it...it was a private party that was going to go on until 11pm. The thing is that the shape of the hotel allows the music to penetrate every single room of the hotel so if you are on a business trip or have to get up early the next morning for any reason as we did (5am) then you are just out of luck! And if you happen to really like Marriott hotels and have been religiously saving up your Marriott rewards points then be prepared to be treated like a seriously second class customer! You may be reminded as I was by the manager that your room was "already paid for". I had to remind the manager that my points are every bit as valuable to me as cash until I received a one-third refund for our stay. Courtesy demands a call when they schedule a party during your stay.

Right when you walk in to the resort, you are greeted with friendly smiles and buenos dias. Check in is a breeze. The ocean view rooms are breathtaking. The service is top-knotch. The only flaw is the construction next door (the future site of La Concha condo's). Definitely, would go back.
My husband and I went to Puerto Rico in April and stay at La Concha in Condado, San Juan Once your in the lobby it seems like your in a different world. What a beautiful place that is. The hotel staff is very freindly and attentive to your needs, the service is excellent. My ocean veiw room was a great place for romance or relaxation. I will be staying here again this summer and when ever I get to go back.

BEST OF THE BEST!
La Concha Resort has become THE resort in the San Juan Area. It has been open now for two years and it is a class act. The service is over the top, the facilities are just gorgeous, the ambiance is chic and trendy. Almost every room has a superb ocean view of one of the best beaches in San Juan. You don't need to search any further....your stay at La Concha will be the experience of a lifetime!
