The Ritz Carlton Will Pamper You
The Ritz Carlton is the place to go if you want to relax and be pampered. The staff is wonderful and will do almost anything to accomodate your needs. The maintenance people who cut the grass stop when you walk past so that nothing blows at you. Housekeeping services are timely and done twice a day. We had no problem changing the bedding from down covers and pillows to non allergic covers and pillows. The service and pampering come at a price. Meals and beverages are expensive. The breakfast buffet was 28 per person. Dinner in the three restaurants with drinks (no wine) for two averaged 250 including tip. Lunch by the pool including a cocktail was 80. The pool and beach staff handled everything superbly and provided more towels than we needed. The beach is clean and the water crystal clear with no shells or debris. The casino is a nice size but and I had no problem getting a seat at the blackjack table. Tables minimums varied by night between 10 and 15. If you want more nightlife, more restaurants and a louder casino. the El San Juan is almost next door. It is a ten minute walk or a 10 cab ride. My wife and I had the Couple Message at the Spa and it was money well spent. I usually go to the El San Juan but I am very happy that I chose the Ritz Carlton this time. I paid more for the five star service and it was money well spent.
The Ritz Carlton Will Pamper You
We desperately needed to get away and the Ritz far surpassed our expectations. We were addressed by name and greeted upon arrival with complimentary champagne after I mentioned we were celebrating anniversary. Every employee that we saw, even in passing, greeted us with a smile and "good morning or afternoon". Room was quite spacious and kept spotless. Floats available in pool, Refreshments easily accessible. Pool view was spectacular with an ocean view as well. Food at restaurants, although pricey, was superb. Beach setup and service by staff made us really feel pampered. Amenities and service were second to none. We didn't want to leave.

It was fabulous! They took care of our every need and they even sent champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to us to celebrate our anniversary when we casually mentioned at check-in that that was the reason for our visit.ITs a beautiful property and we had the best time of our lives! Second only to our Honeymoon 15 years ago!!!

We greatly enjoyed the Ritz-Carlton during our trip to Puerto Rico. The service is excellent as should be expected of a 5 star hotel. The pool area is amazing and the beach is great, too. Casino was fun as well. Our room was perfect with a HUGE, nice bathroom. Food is pricey at the on-site restaurants, but fun and very good for just one or two meals. Did not do any spa treatments, it looked nice but they were very expensive. Overall a great stay with every amenity. Stay here!

We had excellent service, every need was met promptly. Our room was very spacious and well maintained. Service desk personel were curteous and extremely helpfull every time we called. We arrived 3 hours before check-in and was taken to our room immediately. Also had late flight and was allowed to keep room 2 1/2 hours past check-out, no charge. The beach was beautiful and personel on the beach were always there to assist with placing chairs, umbrellas, and cabannas. They even brought cold, lemon sented towels to wipe your face with and serviced drinks on the beach. Ate at the Italian Rest. in hotel, very good service and great food. Great location, close to Old San Juan. The casino was not that impressive, slot machines were complicated to play. Denny's close by for breakfast, less than 5 min walk. Overall we were very impressed with hotel and would stay here again.
Oh San Juan
The hotel staff from the bellman to the pit boss in the casino were extremely professional and friendly. Unfortunately, The Ritz was the only enchanting place on the whole island. The business center is extremely comfortable and upgraded. The pool is open all night perfect for that midnight swim. Non motorized equipment (kayaking) is included as a hotel guest making those long weekends on the island fun. The food (room service to the restaurants) menus were varied from salads to filet mignon, making easy for all meal moods. I really enjoyed my stay at the Ritz on Isla Verde.
