The cliff-top Sheraton Algarve Hotel overlooks miles of unspoiled beaches and is approximately 16 miles from Faro Airport. The Sheraton Algarve Hotel's wide range of recreational facilities includes the exciting Pine Cliffs nine-hole golf course and a golf academy, which includes a driving range, pitch and putting greens, and a pro shop. Also available are two outdoor swimming pools and one heated indoor pool. Alternatively, enjoy a massage, work out in the gym, play tennis or mini golf, or simply relax in the sauna or whirlpool. Younger guests will enjoy the supervised children's village, the Porto Pirata, which is open April through October, and during the Christmas and Easter holidays. The hotel also houses a beauty salon, florist, seasonal beach bar, cocktail bar, cafe, international restaurant, and seafood restaurant. Room service is available 24 hours a day. All rooms have air-conditioning, safes, dataports, bathrobes and slippers, turndown service, minibars, satellite TV and in-room movies, and private balconies or terraces.

One of the best stays of my life
This hotel has a combination of qualities that add up to a memorable stay. The architecture of the hotel is designed for the sun cast and wind pattern, very nice as are the azulejos worked into to the headboard. The location on the cliffs are magnificent, you must view a couple of sunsets from the beach or at the managers reception on the deck. The local is built up; however, if you are getting away with your lover, and a little evening formality is ok, then this little get away is for you.
