What a fantastic birthday!
Truely memorable and outstanding stay at an iconic hotel. Sometimes the hype of these grand hotels does not live up to the reality but our visit was certainly outstanding in every way and one of our most memorable hotel stays around the world. Stayed in a Palm Court Suite which was a wonderful peaceful oasis in a busy city. The hotel was bursting with character, history and tradition. The staff were impeccable to the point of giving a member of our party a photoframe and picture and a surprise cake for her birthday. Nothing was too hard to arrange. The bathroom also deserves a mention... it was huge and bigger than an average size study in Singapore. Also had breakfast in the room and the Birchir Muesli was to die for. The service and the ceremony of setting up breakfast was very unique and reminiscent of times gone by when breakfast was an occasion, not just a meal. It is very rare to stay in a hotel in your home city and even rarer that you leave feeling that you've discovered a whole new side to your home town. This was certainly the case with a dream stay at the Raffles Hotel. A gem that should be put in everyones list of must stays before you die. Memorable forever.
What a fantastic birthday!
For the price, I was very disappointed... The room was great, but service left something to be desired..Getting a cup of coffee or a glass of wine seemed to take forever
