Clean & comfortable room, very helpful staff, about 6 blocks from downtown activities, restaurants & shop. We would definitely stay at this location again. The only thing that was missing were amenities - except for coffe/tea in small eating area, there weren't any extras. At least a minimal continental breakfast would definitely enhance a stay here.
Worst hotel in Anchorage, drunks, street noise, dirty, stinks, rude staff I could say more but you get the drift!
1. smoking room reserved and paid for 1 month in advance. upon checkin i was informed that hotel showed nothing about smoking room and not their fault since the travel agency made the reservation. when asked if any other was available, i was told not in the price range that i had paid (this price was advertised in the hotel section). athe desk clerk offered no compromises other than a nonsmoking room. 2. the walls are paper thin and i had to keep the tv on in order to drown out the conversations in the next room 3. on my second and last day in the hotel, the toilet stopped up to the point that i had to use facilities at a nearby restaurant
Hotel was very dirty, unprofessional staff, treated my wife bad. There was drunks all over the side we stayed in, I could not even smoke a cigarette without getting into a converstation with a drunk which I could not understand a word they were saying. No elevator on the side we stayed in, no breakfast, no refridgerator. The ice machine was in the other building(3 flights of stairs down & across) We had to pay 5 for 20 minutes of internet.
It was for us an excellent choice. Great place, excellent price. The rooms were cleaned everyda, the experience overall was excellent.
Rooms are small but clean. Beware beds are extreamly hard! Pool was nice bonus.
