Discover a legendary Mobile, Alabama hotel that captures classic Southern charm at the Battle House, a Renaissance Hotel. Step back to a simpler time when elegance reigned supreme and service was sublime. Originally built in 1852, this downtown Mobile hotel served as a gathering place for high society and a stopover for American luminaries and statesmen, such as Ulysses S. Grant, Woodrow Wilson, and Babe Ruth. Located in the citys revitalized downtown, this Mobile, Alabama hotel is situated near the riverfront and Arthur R. Outlaw Convention Center. The Trellis room delights with amazing Italian dishes, awe-inspiring cathedral ceilings, and an upscale show kitchen. A new level of lavishness will grace the property in December, with the unveiling of a sensational spa offering rejuvenation for the mind, body, and spirit. Experience the resort atmosphere of Mobiles most historic address. It also features a fitness center, swimming pool, 24-hour front desk, laundry service, meeting rooms, and dataports. Guestrooms evoke the opulence of gracious Southern living and provide the reassurance of modern conveniences and technology.

The BattleHouse Hotel is excellent for spending time with that special one on a special occasion. I spent my 25th birthday weekend at the BattleHouse. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was security at the front entrance no matter what time of the day it was. Each afternoon they would provide you with the weather forecast for the following day. Each morning the newspaper was waiting when I opened the door. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable that I've ever slept on. I would highly recommend this hotel.
