This is a fun, kitschy hotel for people who can accept an offbeat place and don't need to be at the Hilton. If you need a standard hotel room - don't stay...

Off the beaten path, but well worth it!
This little Motor Lodge in many ways is like taking a step back in time when you would get friendly, down home service at an affordable price. ...

La Siesta rocks
La Siesta is one of the most pleasant and friendly places we have ever stayed. It is a genuine 1950's "motor inn", newly renovated but retainin...
As a deaf person, I've found it difficult at best to find an accessible motel. La Siesta Motel blew me away--they had staff that were fluent in sign language and the front office even had a Video Phone (imagine that). The motel was quaint, charming and made me feel like I'd travelled back in time to a place where customer service was a priority. Each room was decorated in a different style...like different personalities *smile*. I've finally found a place where I could just enjoy my visit and not have to worry about accessibility. What a relief!
La Siesta was a wonderful surprise, a green oasis tucked away near downtown Tucson. The view of the sun setting was romantic, the rooms were recently renovated, and the staff's hospitality was exceptional. We were given a hearfelt welcome when we arrived...and added several new members to our "heart family!" We will DEFINITELY stay at La Siesa Motel again!!
Wow, this motel was a great place to stay with my family! La Siesta's atmosphere was sooo kid-friendly! They had a BBQ on Friday night and invited all of the guests to come. Then, they showed movies outside on a big screen (none were R-rated). The kids played outside on the lawn (unusual to have grass in Tucson) while the adults chatted. The saltwater pool was great too! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was extemely friendly & helpful. We felt like we were all one big happy family over the weekend at La Siesta Motel. We're recommending this motel to all of our friends with children!
Cool & quirky motel, eco-friendly w/ positive energy! Organic tea & coffee served every morning, and a saltwater pool swim in the afternoon. Several hiking trails in the mountains are close-by, and the view from the motel is beautiful. Eclectic group of people working at La Siesta, which added to our whole experience. Awesome green motel in the middle of the desert!
It was like being a kid again back in the 70's, and stopping at the motor lodge with your family on a road trip...but only with more style! It was such a laid-back, friendly atmosphere and the room had great unique character and charm. It was like staying with friends. I would definitely come back.
