The room is not bad, although very small...but the bedside lights didn't work, the deadbolt on the door didn't work, and my keycard had to be reprogramed every time I returned. I was told they were very sensitive..Well so am I and I got tired of climbing up and down the stairs every time I wanted to get into the room. The attitude was kind of...:we're sorry, but we really don't care. Oh yeah...the WiFi didn't work for 3 days.
Booked 2 queen beds non-smoking for 5 nights. Called about handicapped accessibility. We checked in, they gave us a room that was occupied by a lady in bed. Gave us another room, which turned out to be a handicapped room with only one bed and a roll-in shower that would not drain. Couldn't get another room or fix the shower until the next day. It was like sleeping in a swamp. The next day, one of the front clerks did find us a room to move into.
The room was clean, and amenities were adequate for the price. But it was 110 degrees in Upland, and the air conditioner was a weak wall unit that didn't pump out enough cold air to cool off the room. My suggestion... if it's hot, STAY DOWNSTAIRS!
