My family and I had to evacuate our home during the recent San Diego fires. When checking in, I asked for a military discount...I was told know because they were filling up to capacity. Of course, every room in the city was filling up. I had to pay the full 199 per night. I would not recommend staying at this location just for being a lousy neighbor. In their defense, they did set up an activity room for the children. But I still feel like I was taken advantage of.
I arrived late, and my reservation was not honored by the Hotel. I decided to stay there because I had a meeting in a bulding next door. They send me to a lower class hotel, and they were very surprised when I complained, as if I was asking for something special. Several people answered different things but no one solved my problem or refunded my money. Do not stay here if you actually plan on staying here.
We were on business trip, arrived at midnight, and were told we had no room. However they had arranged a condo like accomodation 18 miles away (wrong direction for next days meeting). No apologies given.
