Comfort Suites Huntington Beach is Located in the heart of Huntington Beach just minutes from the beach, The Hotel offers complimentary hot fresh savory breakfast daily and free high speed wireless internet. This Hotel is near all Southern California's most popular beaches, approximately five miles from the Huntington Beach Pier, about eight miles from Knott's Berry Farm, and 10 miles from Disneyland. Hotel offers luxurious, elegantly decorated and spectacular accommodations to both business and leisure travelers. Suites are Equipped Beds with pillow top mattresses, refrigerators, microwaves, Coffee Maker, Hairdryers, Iron and Ironing Boards. Additional Hotel amenities are fitness room, Outdoor heated pool and spa, complimentary weekday newspaper, safe deposit box, complimentary parking, and Guest Laundry. While there is not a full service restaurant inside the hotel, there are dining destinations nearby. Local restaurants include Jack in the Box, Macaroni Grill, Marie Callender's, Olive Garden, and many more. For air transportation, the John Wayne Orange County airport is approximately 10 miles from the hotel. The Los Angeles International airport is about 30 miles away. Suites have separate sitting and sleeping areas. Physically challenged suites are also available upon request. Minimum age of 18 years or older is required for each room. All reservations are subject to a valid credit card or a 100.00 cash deposit per a stay upon check-in.

We were travelling to Orange county area to see some of relatives in Westminster so we booked a room/suite with two beds here. Check-in was just a breeze. Staff person helping us check-in was a great guy, very friendly and helpful. Our room was just excellent. nice and very clean. Bedding was totally sparkling clean and spotless. My kids loved the pool. They spent a lot of time playing in the water. This hotel is close to so many good restaurants and very nice shopping malls, and only 4 miles from the beach, which was great for us. We spent quite a bit of time at the beach which, by the way, happens to be the cleanest beach (Huntington Beach) in the whole California. My family and myself were really happy after staying at this hotel for 3 nights. We all had so much fun. Their breakfast was just fabulous. We never had to look for any other breakfast in the local restaurants. It was absolutely great value for money.
Terrible customer service. Charged card when THEIR personell made a mistake. No help when requested. No ethics. Would never stay here and would never recommend. Go elsewhere!!!!! Not worth the hassle.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was clean and the room was a great size for the 6 of us. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful. We felt very safe in this hotel and with the surrounding neighborhood. There were many restaurants within walking distance and Target was right across the street which we loved. It is about 4 miles from the beach. The pool was small but fine with us, we spent our time at the beach anyways. There is a laundry room so if needed you can do your own laundry. Great for us as we were nearing the end of our vacation and needed to wash some clothes! Service was excellent. Will definately stay here again.
Where do I start? The picture on the travel website looks great. That's where the good ends and the bad begins. * Dirty shower (hair in tub, hair on one of my "clean" towels) * Loud - difficult to sleep (lack of insulation between rooms left me awake and hearing things I didn't want to hear) (also had several people smoking on the balcony outside my door for hours on end) * Breakfast - doesn't start until 7am. A bit late for the business person who needs to get out early to fight the SoCal traffic * TV - reception was horrible on several channels * Suite - I had the pleasure of a "free" upgrade to a suite. The suite had a couch! Unfortunately, the couch was a dark color with many stains on it...gross. * The pool is accross the parking lot, like an afterthought, and makes every Motel 6 pool you've ever seen look like a Vegas resort! The bathtub in my house is bigger (and cleaner). The hotel is run down, with spot-repairs going on in several areas. It appears as if they took an old, run-down stucco hotel and painted it with modern tones to make it look like a nice place to stay. Don't be fooled by the pictures. It is near the Boca shopping complex and it is only a 5 min drive to the beach...but there are better places for the money.
We celebrated this Mother's Day in Orange county area and we stayed at Comfort Suites in Huntington Beach. We were also visiting some family members there. We had booked couple of rooms since we have large family. Rooms were very nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable. We had a very quite and nice room so we all slept like little babies. My kids loved the heated swimming pool. They had lot of fun. Bathrooms in the rooms were sparkling clean with good showerheads. Breakfast was even better with fresh hot items served in a very professional and efficient way. My kids liked hot waffles and bacon. Staff was very efficient and courteous, always ready to offer assistance. We loved our stay there and plan to come back soon for more family fun at this great hotel. Would definitely recommend this to anyone planning to stay in that area.
I have worked for AAA for many years and I used to go for Hotel inspection very often. So I know exactly what to look for when I am planning to stay at a hotel. I recently stayed at this Comfort Suites in Huntington Beach. Honestly, if I was still working for AAA, I would give this hotel top Three-Star Diamond rating. Room was exceptionally clean and the hotel staff was amazingly friendly and very co-operative. Housekeeping staff did a wonderful job in cleaning the room. I loved the breakfast that included hot waffles and bacon and so many other enjoyable things. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives.
