Terraced on a hillside in Laguna Beach, California amid tropic gardens and flower splashed patios, this Laguna Beach hotel exudes an ambiance of bygone days when Laguna Beach, was developing its reputation as an artists' colony and hideaway for Hollywood film stars. The mission style architecture of this Laguna Beach bed and breakfast set below towering palms framing views of the blue Pacific invites you to linger, to slow your pace to that of another less hurried era. This feeling will be reinforced as you take your breakfast or afternoon refreshments in the historic Mission House or on one of the many secluded patios.

Travelocity Reviews ( 3 Reviews ) Top

 by  anonymous  on  2008-04-27

This beautiful property is, in my opinion, ruined by the very loud 4 lane highway that runs directly in front of it. We had to sleep with the patio door and windows closed and we still heard the traffic noise all night long. The rooms were also very small, poorly furnished and poorly maintained (broken chair, dirty molding in bathtub, carpet coming up and exposing a sharp carpeting nail). In short- I felt totally ripped off and will not return, nor recommend it. I booked there based on rave reviews from travel sites and now I no longer trust those sites- what were these people thinking when they reviewed the place?

We initially were just looking for a place to stay which allowed our dog (75 lbs). Most hotels charge 50+ non refundable for your pet to stay. Therefore, we were AMAZED that for only 25 this FABULOUS hotel took us in! Not only was it a complete surprise for 140/night we recieved an OCEAN VIEW, yummy oatmeal cookies in our room, beautiful bed, pool & wonderful location BUT they have all you can drink WINE & CHEESE & APPS from 5-7 AND absolutely wonderful gourmet breakfast included everyday. They chefs were beyond wonderful & even made my poor sick dog rice & cottage cheese she needed! We had a FABULOUS STAY! So much so, that I put it on my "to do list" to write this raving review. Thanks again,Stacey N. (& Missy the pup!)

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Laguna! The attention to detail is incredible. Every time I thought ""it would be nice if"", the item was there. I was in the Jacuzzi and I thought, ""candles would be nice""...there they were...right on the wall! The CD playing in the room on arrival is a very nice touch as well as the fruit, bottled water, soaps, etc. I would (and have already) given the website to several people. Casa Laguna made the ""top two"" list of highlights during my 10 days in California!
