My daughter (age 5) and I stayed at the hotel two nights for a girls mini vacation. I had never stayed here before, but booked the hotel based on great reviews from various sites. The hotel was at a perfect location, a few minutes walk from the beach (by lifeguard station 18, the pier is just past station 20). The hotel was so close that when me or my daughter needed to use the restroom, we walked abck to the hotel! The staff was very friendly and let me know about fresh baked cookies (tasted yummy) available at 3 and told us they had movie rentals, towel rentals, chair rentals, sand toy rentals and umbrella rentals...all free! We rented movies and towels...it was so convienent. Breakfast is included and was enjoyable (cereal, burritos, muffins, juice). I was happy that the rooms were so clean and a decent size. A small refrigerator, safe, dvd, and vcr player were in the room. There was also a bowl of fruit and a greeting notecard upon my arrival. Parking is included in the price, which is great. There are two parking lots to choose from. We didn't use our car until we left. We walked to the beach, the pier, the old spaghetti factory and the crab cooker. All great places to check out! The walls are a bit thin, and you can hear little amounts of traffic off the street. But it did not bother me or my daughter's sleep. My daughter and I had a great time. We will be back!
