Travelling with my mother and 2 kids. The room faces a rv parking lot. The breakfast was gross. Watered down juice that must have been applejuice until it had so much water added. Coffee machines were out. Phones didn't work in the room but they offered for us to use the phone in the business office. 3 floors down and quite a walk for my my elderly mother. The bathroom door locks from the outside. It takes someone on the outside to help you pull the door closed. THE GFI in the bathroom pops non stop. Can't even run their coffee pot. Unless you just need a place to flop for the night DO NOT STAY at this hotel.

Selected this for its proximity to John Wayne Airport, and was delighted in all aspects. Room was very clean and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. Staff was cordial and helpful. The pool was outstanding, warm and large enough to share with others who discovered it. The breakfast was modest and predictable for the chain. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

For a discounted rate it's not a bad place to stay. If your just looking for a place to sleep while you sight see or for business it's ok. Breakfast was a little lame. Very close to the 5 freeway.

 by  anonymous  on  2006-10-02

Hard to sleep at night with planes flying loudly overhead. Also noise from people running up and down stairs. Breakfast is put away exactly at time designated as over, no lingering! Rooms very small and not much room between bed and furniture.

Rfooms are misrepresented. To me a suite is not a 4 foot room divider. I was extremely disappointed when my 1 bedroom suite was one room. I was traveling with my two daughters and the hotel refused to refund my room also to allow me to get another room. Will not stay in another Comfort Hotel anytime soon

 by  anonymous  on  2006-07-02

Stayed over for just a night since had an early flight out of JW Airport but the rooms were very clean and staff friendly. Close location to the airport. It did not appear to have an elevator and we had to carry our large bags up a flight of stairs but otherwise a good choice to stay. Note: Airport shuttle does not start until 6:00 a.m. and we had to be at the airport at 5:45 a.m.
