This place ruined the romance package I got. The rooms are ugly. The only good part was we could see Disney from our room & watch the fireworks.

We were extremely pleased with this hotel. The room was immaculately clean & very spacious. This room was truly "luxurious" at a bargain price. The staff was helpful & room-service served food fast and hot. The pool is quite large and has 4 hot tubs & plenty of fresh, fluffy towels. Note: the concierge staff was helpful, but was not the most knowledgable about Disney or the surrounding area. TIPS: (1.) Ask for a Disney-view room. We watched the fireworks (9:25pm nighlty) from our picture window. It was spectacular. (2.) There is a Disney desk right in the Hotel offering discount tickets. The discount was as good as we found online - and it was easy and saved waiting in line. (3.) There is a Starbucks in the hotel but the lines are long in the am. We enjoyed the delicious Buffet breakfast at the Oasis Restaurant in the hotel - pricey but very good food and service. (4.) The Valets are fast and helpful. It is *for the valet or to self-park...so use the Valet! (5.) The walk to Downtown Disney is over a mile; from there you can catch the monorail into the park. It is not as close as it looks on the map & I wouldn't recommend walking - especially w/ kids. Take the city-provided shuttle (I think its 3/person) or just drive and park (*/day Disney parking). Our only complaint was a minor one: the business-center in the hotel is actually an independently run UPS store and the owner is a somewhat rude and crotchedy old man. It was not fun dealing with him to access mail & internet service. This hotel was worth three times what we paid for it on travel website - a wonderful experience & highly recommended.

The room we stayed in for a convention was newly renovated and it showed. Everything still looked brand new; beds, carpet, bathroom etc.) - My only real issue outside of the room is that they are STILL renovating, and it seems like its everywhere. There where OLD signs/ads still in the elevators touting their spectacular improvements to come and it was dated ?August 2007? ? REALLY! While we were there, the lobby had its carpet pulled up, walls were erected right in front of us, and I could hear the jack hammer from up in our room, and this was on a summer weekend. To top it off, they only had one bank of elevators working. Sometimes the wait was longer then 10 minutes. On a good note, the service in the Cafe (the only restaurant we could find in the place) was very nice - but the food was a little pricey.

Constant construction from 7 am to 10 pm pounding, hammering drilling all day long. Moving construction supplies in and out. I still had blue painters tape on the walls in my bathroom. The construction dust was terrible which made the halls and rooms filthy. When I complained about the noise I was told the hotel had no control over the contractors. Other hotels under construction/remodeling I have stayed at would block off a portion of the hotel and remodel a section at a time. Remodeling was going on next to me, above me and all around me. . My friend had a water leak in her room and she had to place towels on the floor all week long to sop up the water. Nothing was done to resolve her problem. This conference was scheduled three years ago. The hotel knew we were coming. I expected more than boards and hanging tarps in the lobby. The hotel was not prepared for us. We even had to use the service elevator! Extra costs were very high. Food and charges to use the business center were high.

We stayed in the standard double-bedded room with view of Disney park and fireworks. There are shutter buses from Hilton to Disney Land, 4/adult and 1/child. Overnight parking at hotel is 15/night. Even though Hilton Anaheim looks like a nice hotel with a good location, and the room view of disney but it wasn't worth the money. The bathroom is very old: there is mold between tiles in some areas, faucet is terribly bad--hard to adjust shower temperature, flooded bathtub when taking shower, no shower cap for lady, and no Q-Tips. Thick dust collected under the vanity table and along the electric lamp cord. DON'T stay here if you travel with kid. There is NO refrigerator in the room to store milk and juice. We have stayed in many hotels in U.S. and never had any negative comments until we stayed in this hotel. Totally not worth the money we paid for comfort!

It was nice, but awfully expensive for the quality. Breakfast in the hotel for two adults and two children (2 and 4 years old) ran about 50! One tip if you are staying here and visiting Disneyland, though - don't waste your time and money on the ART bus. Instead, go behind the hotel and walk across the street - you'll be in the Disneyland parking lot! From there, you can catch a (free) tram into the park, which departs a lot more often than the ART buses, and is a lot more stroller friendly.

We stayed for four nights for a Disney trip with our kids. The staff was polite and helpful and were efficient, it's just that the room was falling apart. (We had requested a room on the renovated floors, but they wanted an additional 30 per night, and we didn't think that was a priority at the time.)The shower handles appeared to be ready to fall out of the tile, and we were worried about turning them and ending up with them clashing to the floor, and on the last morning, the sink backed up with a smelly, brown, disgusting goo. I told the desk about this and they made no offer to comp anything, even parking. What the goo was, I don't know...but it was brown and extremely foul smelling. The blankets were very thin; maybe that's a good thing in that they are actually laundered, but we have not idea about that. The bathroom was so small that there was one quarter inch of clearance between the bathroom door and the toilet. There were also no plastic liners in any of the trash cans, which was odd.The rooms and hallways are dated and not what you would expect in a Hilton. Granted, they are renovating, but it appears it is ten years too late. There are MUCH nice places to stay when you are going to Disneyland. Skip the Hilton Anaheim.
