We had stayed at this hotel several years ago when it was a Travel Lodge and were happy with the place, but it has definitely gone downhill. The room was dirty and falling apart. The grout in the bathroom was filthy, paint was peeling and the carpet was so stained I doubt it had been cleaned in years. The bed was probably the most uncomfortable one we had ever slept in.The desk person was friendly, but wouldn't get me an iron and recommended that I wait until morning... there was probably no housekeeping staff on duty, but he offered no explanation. The continental breakfast: One drink choice and I think it was Tang and a couple of danishes and mini muffins. No fruit or cereal.Overall our stay was very disappointing and we will never stay there again. If it was a 35 room, we would maybe understand some of this, but at 85 it's just unacceptable... it's time for an overhaul of this property.
The hotel was easy to find, easy access to the freeway. It was clean and the staff friendly. Not a brand new hotel but it was sufficient and the room a good size. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but I have slept in worse. It was good for the money, would stay there again.
