My husband and I stayed here for a weekend trip. The staff service was excellent. The room was very clean, there was a slight closed-up smell when we entered, but it cleared out within moments of turning on the heat and cracking a window. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom was in really good condition with great toiletries. The microwave and fridge were great perks. We didn't have an opportunity to check out the pool, fitness center, or restaurant, but given the condition of our room and the lobby they are probably well-kept. The location is about a ten minute drive from the "downtown" State Street shops and restaurants, so it was great to save a few bucks and still be really close to the action. Would definitely recommend!
My wife and I chose to travel to SB for a long weekend getaway from the michigan fall. The hotel was exactly what we had hoped for...clean, safe , and a good value. We did the package which I would highly recommend.
This is not a luxury hotel, but it is very pleasant and clean and in a good location. It is not right on the beach, but the beach and everything else is just a short drive away. This sure beats the Guesthouse Inn, which is nearby, but where I wouldn't require my dog to stay!
Rooms were small but clean. Prices in Santa Barbara aren't cheap, but this was an acceptable price for this area. I found the staff courteous and responsive to requests. Housekeeping did a good job. Didn't notice any security staff, but wasn't looking for them either. Felt safe in the hotel. There is no complemenatary breakfasts, but the hotel is conveniently located close to a number of restaurants. There is a restaurant at the hotel, but found their prices quite a bit more than we wanted to spend.Overall great experience and would recommend.
Bad beds, we checked out early, lost money. It was horrible.
It is right across the street from a mall and Starbucks. Area is newer and conveniently located to beach and restaurants.
