nothing special but ok
one hour drive to the valley. but there's few choice. room is all right.
The staff was friendly and informative. The room was a nice size, larger than average, and the beds were comfortable. The pool was heated. Breakfast was good with a variety of things to choose from - waffles, donuts, bagels, toast, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, coffee, juices, milk, etc. etc.
We vacationed in Yosemite, hotel is about an hour from Yosemite Valley. About a half hour from Maripose Grove. Staff was very friendly. Room was big and clean. Nice continental breakfast in morning and fresh-baked cookies all day. Overall great value. We would definitely stay again.
We choose this hotel based on the proximity to Yosemite. It was not to close (almost an hour to the south entrance), but it's a nice trip. the hotel is very quiet, clean and the breakfast was the typical continental breakfast, enough for us and kept us full for at least 5 hours. The beds were excellent and there was plenty of space. in the room. Overall we were happy, there are not too many choices around the area if you are going to Yosemite Park and inside the park the hotels are extremely expensive. also this hotel has several dining options very close for all the budgets and taste, from pizza to Spanish food.
The hotel is just old and needs to be compleatly remodeled. The pool was heated, and the kids suffered a little bit less because of that.
although they are 15 mins from yosemite's south gate, it's still 50 miles to the valley. Takes an hour to get there. The continental breakfast was juice/coffee/danish/donuts/yogart/milk/coffee/tea. nothing special. get there early or not much left. Room is long. upper floor squeaked. But quiet. Better than stayin in an unheated tent in the valley for the same price
Not much better than a Motel 6. The price for what one gets is terrible. I've paid much less to stay in much nicer motels. The exercise room is a joke from the 1970's no modern equipment and it's very small. The pool and spa look like they need cleaning! Internet connection works well as I am using it right now.
