Located 30 minutes south of San Francisco, the Beach House Hotel Half Moon Bay offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and Pillar Point Harbor. Each of the 54 spacious loft suites in the ecologically friendly hotel is designed to take advantage of the beautiful ocean and mountain views. Thoughtful amenities in each luxurious guest suite include a fireplace, balcony or patio, separate living room area, stereo system, refrigerator and oversized bathroom with separate tub and shower. Complimentary continental breakfast featuring fresh orange juice, muffins, Danish and fresh brewed coffee-served daily for all guests as well as a wine and cheese reception on Friday and Saturday evening. Wi-Fi is complimentary. Upon arrival, a cozy lobby featuring a wood burning fireplace greets you. While at the hotel take advantage of our onsite Spa Services as well as our ocean front outdoor pool and Jacuzzi. Area activities include running, biking or walking on the seven mile long coastal trail, horseback riding, beachcombing, mountain biking, golfing, seasonal whale watching, surfing, shopping in historic downtown Half Moon Bay and beachfront dining with dramatic sunset views.

This is one of my favorite hotels, and the second time we have stayed here in the past 6 months. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The view of the ocean from your room is fantastic!
We were married in Half Moon Bay and stayed for 2 nights at the Beach House hotel. Despite an initial mix-up with our booking (for which we were very well compensated), our stay was everything we could ever have wished for. We stayed in an ocean-view room and the view was incredible! The rooms were lovely and I was able to make use of the Aveda bath products while getting ready for the big day! The hotel offers free wine & cheese tasting on Friday & Saturday nights which we were able to enjoy on the patio outside overlooking the bay. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others.
