My husband, my son and I stayed in Room 422 for one night. It had been closed off "for repairs" before our stay. Well, we brought home bed bugs Anyway, be FOREWARNED --- because bed bugs are almost IMPOSSIBLE to eradicate! The scenery was beautiful, but it just isn't worth the horror of bringing home bedbugs!!! We've stayed at Yosemite Lodge at the Falls many times before without a problem --- but bed bugs are coming back with a vengence in the U.S. and all over the world --- and they easily spread from one hotel room to another --- so I'll skip any more visits, thank you! You may wonder why other reviewers don't mention bed bugs --- it takes about two months for the eggs (which are stuck to your suitcase or clothing) to hatch and probably another month until the reviewer figures out their problem is bed bugs --- and by then they've all ready written their reviews. And they may never connect that they came from the Lodge --- especially if they stayed in other hotel rooms, too. Just a word to the wise -- don't stay at the Lodge until they get the problem resolved --- which will probably be NEVER (they obviously had just had the room sprayed or fumigated or whatever when we checked in) --- some hotel owners say it took them over a YEAR to get rid of bed bugs in a room!

The room that i stayed in overlooked a mountain which was great. The bad thing was that the shower curtain had gross slimy mold on it. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty so we had to call to get a refill. The mattresses were horrible. You could fell the springs. This hotel needs to remoldel. The staff was friendly.

The Lodge consists of many 24 unit buildings and is right by the tram, restaurants, the falls, and many sights. There is no airconditioning but the ceiling fan worked well."

The location is worth the . The room was much better than the Grand Canyon. It was large and clean. The hotel is older but was just fine for Yosemite. The staff was friendly everywhere. The food was pretty good for cafiteria food. I will stay here again.
