Breck Village, 06,05 & 07
Stayed at the Village in 2006 and it is the best by far of all of the other facilities. Location, rooms and service were all awesome.

this place is one of the best for access to lifts and downtown, great for walking distance. guess they upgraded some, so it's allright as far as ski joints. beds aren't great, but there's plenty worse in Breckenridge. don't like that they have Valet parking, but worth it for the location.
This is a very great place and location. The decor was a bit dark and too western--lots of fur rugs. The location is 250 steps from lifts!
Great value for the money. The location of this resort is second to none. The Quicksilver lift is about a 3 minute walk in your ski boots. Main Street is less than a block away. Although the Village at Breckenridge is not a 5 star hotel, it gets the job done. The resort is older (80's styling). The condo unit that we stayed in this year was updated recently. The studio condo is around 400 sq ft. Thus, you can fit 2 adults in the room. I would not recommend 4 adults or even a family. There are 4 hot tubs and pool to relax in. I have been to Breckenridge the last 6 yrs and stayed at the Village at Breckenridge 3 times. All I have to say is...Location, Location, Location.
The location was great for skiing and walking around the town. But it is a lttle old and showing alot of wear. Staff was several slack kids that didn't know much of what they were doing, friendly though. Rooms have issues carpet coming up, doors not closing in the tiny bathroom, but was overall just barely okay. Food is not a highlight here in town either. Highlight is the Bar downstairs it has good drinks and a couple of pool tables and several T.V.s for games. We had a good time, but we will probably stay somewhere else next time.
Arrival day overall first impression of lobby/check-in was dirty and poorly lit. Resort has 1 hotel building and all others are condos. Building that comprised hotel rooms, where we stayed, was well maintained. Room with 2 double beds had nice amenities like coffee maker, small refrigerator, iron and board, and was clean. Maid service usually late in the day, but made up by the abundance of clean towels left in room. Concierge personnel were friendly and helpful. Overall for the convenience to ski area and town I do recommend staying.
Close to the slopes and lifts, Short walk to a charming town with crepes, a wonderful Swiss fondue restaurant, and unique shops. 4 outdoor hottubs and a fine little pool make ""The Village' req area a wonderful place to relax after a day on the slopes. Condo units have a well out-fitted kitchen. Only wish that the beds in our unit were more firm and comfortable.
