I got a very good deal on a room here from the travel website. The hotel is right under Pikes Peak in the Garden of the Gods area with fantastic views. I arrived at night and had no idea I was that close. This was my first trip to Colorado Springs and I was very impressed with the cleanliness of S. Colorado Springs and the hotel in general. The rooms are mini suites complete with full kitchen! This would be very helpful for touring with your family to save on food costs. The air/heat worked fine. I had difficulty sleeping, perhaps due to the higher altitude. The bed was a little hard for my tastes but standard firmness for a hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend getting breakfast at the Peaks Grille about .25 miles down the street. Great views of the mountains!
