unimpressive
check in staff did not impress- we were left waiting while a guy who looked like a student wandered around; no acknowledgement of our existence...
Our family (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed at this Hampton Inn for 2 nights. The rooms were nice and clean. Beds were comfortable with extra pillows. Our biggest complaint was the noise. There were two busloads of teenage band members in town for a competitiion and they were yelling down the halls and partying in the halls/rooms until late at night. What upset us the most was the lack of response when we called the front desk asking management to deal with the unruly teens. They ignored our complaints---totally unacceptable! We actually had to go to their rooms and the hallway ourselves and deal with the situation before it stopped. This is not what paying customers should have to do in order to get some sleep. If you want to stay here, recommend you call ahead of time to see if any "potentially loud" groups coincide with your stay.
I was pleasantly suprised by our stay. We were part of a large group (wedding), and many of us had never been to Co. Springs before. Staff helped with directions. Housekeeping staff seemed to come either too early or somewhat late, but at least you know the room is being cleaned. Breakfast was better than I expected. Beds were great. Close to interstate and plenty of eating places. No fitness room onsite, but partnership with local fitness club--it was great, although a little far from hotel.
