I stayed here 2 nights as part of a bicycle tour of the Rockies. This is a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous place. We had a deluxe double cabin that included a kitchen/dining room/ sitting room. All appliances were high end and modern. The balcony had a spectacular view. The suite was clean and comfortable. There was easy access to the gondola into Telluride. A convience store/grocery was nearby. Evem the pool had a great alpine view. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was a great value for the money.
We went to Telluride CO for the Brews & Blues Festival. Our room was everything you could hope for, well worth the money spent. I am going to do the same thing next year for the festival. Travel agency makes it so easy and convienant. Thank you for a wonderful trip.
This wonderful Lodge is incredible. The staff was friendly and facility very clean......it could not have been better! They accomidated a room upgrade at the last minute and followed up to make sure it worked! Will stay again!
Hotel is very pretty, and clean; however the front desk staff are the snottiest people I have ever dealt with. Unresponsive to requests, and act as if you are bothering them. Forget TV unless you want severe neck problems from looking up 8 feet to view in both rooms.
The hotel was extremly clean, and the location was just a short walk from the gondola. Don't pay the 20/night for parking, the free lot is about a 5 minute short walk. The room was clean and had all newer furniture and stainless steel appliances. Only downfalls were there was no oven, but I guess this isn't common anyways and the 2 tv's were mounted way too high , close to the ceiling. If you want to enjoy a movie, your neck may be cramped at the end as it was awkward to look up at the ceiling. Overall great place and I would come back.
Staying in Mountain Village is nice when visiting Telluride, it is especially fun using the Gondola to go to and from Telluride's downtown. The Mountain Lodge is convenient to the gondola that takes you to Mountain Village proper or to the downtown gondola. The hotel needs to upgrade it's bedrooms, it on site amenities (ie ""general store"") and it needs to tell its staff to make some pretext of listening to there customers. I know we did not stay in the most expensive room, but we were with them for 5 nights and paid out fair share.
