In the center of Vail Village this is a wonderful place! The beds are wonderful and the am breakfast is terrific. Great access to the mountain and many activities. Walk just steps to some fantastic eateries. This is beautifully appointed and the staff is excellent! You must try mountainbiking on the mountain via the gondolla. Great farmers market in the summer in the Village. Lots of families and kids! We felt right at home.

Hotel was better than anticipated. Extreme value for . Great location in Vail Village. Everything is new and clean. Having been there, I would easily pay more to stay there again. It would still be cheaper than most of the high end Vail hotels and its just as nice. A super summer getaway for three days.

Iva the main concierge not only knew what to recommend as far as the tastes and level of physical activity, but even would notice us when we came back to ask how the recomendations went and then go on to suggest other things. Exceptional customer service. The physical structure of the building is unusual in its' cramped into a small place and getting the most rooms in that space - therefore, the hallways are ciruitous, narrow and not all rooms have views of anything. Be sure to ask what view and whether there is a balcony, kitchenette rather than just hotel room etc. Also, most people tell you that a/c is not necessary because the evenings are cool. If you will spend any time in the room in the daytime a/c is important. This hotel thankfully has a/c. We truly enjoyed and would go back again!

The Vail Plaza is a wonderful new hotel in Vail located just one block off of the main Vail roundabout. The rooms are spacious and very, very comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to the slopes and on the Vail in-town bus route. They offer a very nice buffet breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I spent 5 nights with my family around Christmas time in one of the 2 bedroom/2bathroom penthouse units and had one of the best vacations I have ever had. My family and I usually stay at the Ritz Carton or Four Seasons and were initially reluctant to stay at a hotel that was not branded. The Vail Plaza exceeded our expectations in every area of making our stay luxurious and perfect. I will return next winter and very highly recommend this hotel for someone looking to stay in Vail Village and looking for 5 star accommodations. You will not be disappointed. This place will be in direct competition with the Sonnenalp and more up to date and luxurious to American standards. The Vail Plaza Hotel is THE place to stay!
