The worst hotel ever
We had booked and paid for a King size bed. Upon arrival, we were told that no such rooms where available, and got a room with 2 smaller beds....
The double room was comfortable and clean. However, there was a tangle of cords and wires on the carpet when we got there, as if things had recently been installed, and the TV did not work properly the first night we were there. When I called to try to have the problem fixed, I was informed none too politely by the night clerk that no one was available until the following morning. The next day when the repair guy finally did show up he was great, and got things in order in no time; however, the rude night clerk struck a pretty sour note in an otherwise good stay. We did have some excitement in that a big-name band was also staying there; apparently they were playing a gig at a nearby summer theatre.
The double room was comfortable, however, the electrical setup was a tangle of wires and cords and the TV didn't work properly at first. The evening clerk told us none too politely that we'd have to wait until the morning to address the problem. When a repair person finally did come he was great and had it all fixed in no time, but that night clerk needed an attitude adjustment.
Beds were very comfortable but you pay for that comfort with small bathrooms. The cloths rack fell off of the wall and I only had foud outfits and two jackets hung there. Wallpaper peeling in the room. Improper information on my bill whicn surprised me since I'm a Priority Club Member and all of my information is in their system. Ovverall, a Very Disappointing experience at this Hoilday Inn.
Close to the highway and resturants in all price ranges. Stay away from Friendly's. This was a super clean hotels. I plan to stay there again.
Would help to either serve a continental breakfast or have a microwave and small refrigerator in rooms.
For more than 50 years, this hotel's familiar green sign has signaled budget-friendly lodging for families and business travelers.
