We really like this hotel but what a shame that the staff is the rudest we have ever seen. I agree with the review that the staff is very defensive. Even when I called to confirm a reservation she was very defensive and rude. The owner maybe should spend less time out of the country and more time educating his "MANAGER" how to treat customers with respect. This hotel and the "MANAGER" know they are in a tourist town and could care less if you stay there on not. The desk help quotes you and prints out one price per stay and then the "MANAGER" charges something completely different. We stayed there on numerous occasions and the last two time were charged a different rate than quoted. We thought the first time was a mistake and trusted the desk staff again and once again the manager did not honor the quote. We will NEVER stay there again and will tell everyone we know about this experience. We are airline employees and travel extensively and have never had this kind of treatment from a "MANAGER".
People were stomping on the floors, running on the stairwells and slamming doors during my stay at this hotel. Management became defensive with excuses when I and other guests complained. I also noticed by the stains on the sink and toilet and the oily floor that housekeeping did a lousy job of cleaning the bathroom.
