This place has a great location, but otherwise; what a complete dirty dump. The room was dirty. Looks as if they didn't vacuum. The halls looked the same. The bathroom had a disgusting water stain. If it weren't for the fact that we were dupped into pre-paying for the room via the "internet non refundable special" we would have gotten out of dodge the minute we inspected the room. I NEVER write reviews, but I was compelled to tell others to STAY AWAY. I've changed plans based on this site and it's reviews, but never personally had a problem, so I just don't say anything. I should start commenting on the great places I've stayed and give those establishments their due credit, since now I'm so compelled to help others stay away from this dump!!!!! The owners should be ashamed. I am sure that 90% of the people staying there are forced to, because of the non-refundable internet special. They sure know what they're doing. They are trapping you to stay at the dump, because you pre-pay for the rat hole.

After checking out various hotel booking sites, we booked this hotel. We were absolutely DISGUISTED with this filthy hotel. This place is NOT what it was advertised to be. It was the most filthy, disgusting hotel we EVER visited. It was so bad that we checked out and went to another hotel. Here is what we found in our room: 1) Door would not close and lock. 2) Bathroom had bugs on the walls. 3) Urine stains on bathroom wall. 4) HUGE, fuzzy mold growth on bathroom wall and shower. 5) Brown splatters up and down the entire interior of the bathroom door, which looked like fecis. 6) Bathroom door lock was broken so if you locked it, you were locked INSIDE. My son locked himself in and could not get out. 7) Several of the room lights were burned out. 8) Safe key was missing, so we could not use the safe even though the room was advertised as having one. Hotel management later told us they no longer provide safe keys. 9) Carpet was old, filthy, stained and had not been cleaned in a long time. 10) Carpet was pulled up, torn and away from the walls, exposing wiring running underneath. 11) Metal fixtures on the ceiling had LOTS of rust on them. 12) Walls were stained. 13) Patio floor was so filthy that I honestly would be concerned of catching something if you walk barefoot on it. 14) Shower water would not shut off. We have never complained about a hotel before, but this can?t go unsaid. We?re still trying to get some of our money back even though we complained to management and did not stay a single night.

 by  anonymous  on  2008-01-02

I had been on the road for business so I wanted a comfortable place to stay. The room was run down, the sound from the hall was loud. There wasn't any continental breakfast in the hotel.

The service was terrible, The front desk staff from 2 shifts wanted nothing to do with anyone, They did not want to help anyone, and the Manager on duty was even worse. The shuttle service won't make 2 trips if there are too many people to fit on the shuttle bus, They told me to figure something out, wow, Walking down the hallways of the hotel was disgusting there was writing on the doors and crap all over the hallways, it was disgusting, my room was not thoroughly cleaned there was no toilet paper in the room or towels i was super mad, i will never stay at this hotel again and I advise everyone against staying here

 by  anonymous  on  2006-09-02

We picked this hotel for two very simple reasons: location and price. It was close to Universal with a free shuttle and we got a good deal on the room because of a corporate discount. The room was OK, the elevators scary, the security poor. Just a real basic room, not nearly worth the rate.
