The Crowne Plaza Oceanfront hotel in Indialantic, Florida offers guests beach access and proximity to Florida's space-related attractions. We only had one day to spend at the beach, and unfortunately we only got to spend a couple of hours on the beach because it rained. The ocean was pretty rough, and the reef is terrible! However, the hotel was beautiful! The pool was awesome! Everyone was so kind, and the rooms were very clean (a MUST for me) and comfortable. We went to eat a great meal (at R.J. Gator's) and then came back to our room where we just laid around and watched a movie. I would definitely stay there again.
Don't stay at this hotel if you plan on use Travel agent, because they give you a flow through room. Our flow through room was a handicap access room with two very small beds and instead of window that overlooked the ocean they had them frosted over so you could not see out of them. When I called the front desk to ask about the room they stated that all handicap rooms have frosted glass. I don't know about you, but unless your blind being handicapped doesn''t preclude you from enjoying an ocean view!
When arriving,I was quite impressed with the over all welcome.This hotel is one of the best I have stayed at.The staff was so helpful and we were so comfortable.they even have a playroom and sitting service for children.If you stay here,you will not be dissapointed.I will be going back.Oh and I forgot to mention the intertainment that was planned by the hotel for every night of the stay.I can't say enough good things about the CROWN PLAZA OCEANFRONT.
THE ROOM DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH TRASH BAGS FOR A FAMILY. THE PEOPLE THERE WERE STUCK UP AND SNOBBY. NOT ACCOMODATING FOR FAMILIES AT ALL. WE WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL AGAIN.
Beautifully renovated, great rooms.We had an oceanfront on 2nd fl, very nice, dining is fine & not too expensive. Room service was great and personable, front desk was no help at all in most respects.
Everyone was so nice and helpful. The shuttle bus drivers were very helpful in getting us to places. We had a great time. Can't wait to go back.
