My room wasn't ready so I got upgraded to a suite. Best value in years. I got a great rate by booking online. Later someone came in off the street and was quoted a rate 3x as much. Spacious and quiet. Room had a separate kitchen and living room - not needed but very spacious. Great location. An Outback Restaurant was right next door, open untill 11 pm, plus poolside bar service starting 11:30 next day. Fairly quick shot from Miami and a couple hours from Key West.
After visiting the Keys area for many years this is the best place that has everything & centrally located to other Key locations. You can get Hilton Honor points too!
I found this hotel on your web site and all I can say, is wow. The staff was friendly. The one bedroom suite what much nicer than the pictures. The kitchen came fully equipped with dishes, silverware, etc. This ""resort"" deserves a higher rating for sure! Wish it mentioned that you can bring your boat and even has parking for the trailer. Will definately stay here again.

I have driven by this hotel many times, even eaten at Outback in the hotel. I booked a room for two nights- an Oceanview room, what a spectacular view. The rooms were clean with nice furniture and decorations, and the bed was very comfortable. The beach has hammocks within a few feet of the waters edge. Not to mention a heated pool. Not sure why your rating only has two stars, This is definately better that the 2 star rating, most definately 3, maybe a extra half for the location and view of Alligator reef lighthouse. I would return now if I could and would recommed this hotel.
