The room was beautiful and comfortable with a spectacular view of the bay and beach and sunset. Key Largo itself didn't strike us as a place we care to visit again because if you leave the Marriott resort, there didn't seem to be anything exciting to do. We did the glass bottom boat tour and that was interesting, but the rest of the town didn't offer much. The resort was so nice, if we go again, we probably wouldn't feel the need to leave. The beach area was well taken care of, there was a Tiki bar next to the pool and the restaurant (Gill's?) had great food. Who could ask for more?

Overall this is a very very nice hotel. The staff is helpful and courteous. Front desk staff were very helpful with recommendations on restaurants and directions around the area. Very clean. The rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. The bed is luxurious - down bedding, by far the most comfortable bed I've ever had in a hotel. The bathroom is wonderful with a very spacious shower and excellent water pressure. No bathtub however. Balcony with a beautiful view and comfortable seating. Ate one meal in the tiki bar and it was excellent. Drinks and dinner were a bit expensive, but comparable to other resorts. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Live entertainment, not necessarily the best, but entertaining. The pool is large with plenty of seating and sun, though the water was a bit too warm. Pool side tiki bar very nice - staff will deliver food to your seat. The beach is small and not a very good swimming area, but it is a nice place to catch a tan. Shade available if you want it. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Overall, this is a very nice place to stay. It's conveniently located, has great amenities and the most comfortable beds! One area of improvement would be to keep the pool tiki bar open later than 7pm. The staff was all very nice & helpful.

Our honeymoon at the Marriott Key Largo Bay Resort was outstanding. From the first step into the lobby to the last step out the door we were treated like royalty. We were given a great upgrade to the bay view beside the penthouse. Everyone at the resort from the front desk to the housekeeping the service was great. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a place to relax. Very clean rooms and just very relaxing.

Overall, I liked the hotel. Had a great room. Was surprised, since I booked the least expensive room available. Food was nothing special, but I'd go back there again.

Bay view room was great, as well as pool, pool-side bar, beach, restaurant, and service.
