the room was not worth 10 dollars, hasn't been painted in decades, the room was nasty. if the pillow case is stained on both sides, why would you put it on the bed. i slept in my close and went across the street to use the bathroom.
Please spend your hard earned money at another hotel...I beg you!!!....The lobby average, the elevators small. My party of 4 adults had to take 2 evevators, as 1 was too small for 4 adults with 2 bags each. The room had a very good view, but the room was crap!..carpet-dirty, new paint must be done, bathroom (nasty)....parked our rental car at the buliding next door, which once you were out and it was after 10pm, you better find another place to park. Therefore, if you came back to the hotel after 10pm good luck parking your car.
This was our stay the night prior to our cruise. The rooms were run down with stained carpets, dirty walls and subpar bathrooms. The tv's were of poor quality along with bad channel selections. I'm amazed that the travel website would include this hotel in its search pool. In addition, I would avoid the hotel restaurant. My daughter reminded me that the beds were as hard as rocks.
LAAAWDD!!! :-/ HEADING OUT FOR A CRUISE, WE ARRIVED IN THE NIGHT. OTHER HOTELS WERE FULL DUE TO THE DAYTONA 500 AND THE MIAMI BOAT SHOW . IF YOU'RE TRAVELING BY TAXI (NO PARKING) THE ONE STAFF PERSON WAS PLEASANT AND HELPFUL. ONCE WE SAW THE ROOMS , WE COULDN'T BELIEVE IT, YUK, WE SLEPT SIDEWAYS IN OUR CLOTHES. WE GOT UP AND GOT OUT OF THERE ASAP. OUR TEENAGERS DIDN'T EVEN WANT TO EAT THERE!! THIS PLACE NEEDS A M A J OR OVERHAUL OR AN E M P L O S I O N !! ALL WE COULD DO WAS SHAKE OUR HEADS ALONG WITH THE OTHER GUESTS. THERE WERE TWO SMALL ELEVATORS THAT WERE A JOKE AT CHECK-OUT TIME. BASED ON WHERE IT'S LOCATED, RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE BAYSIDE MARKETPLACE AND RIGHT NEAR THE PORT AND THE NUMBER OF TRAVELERS, THEY SHOULD DO BETTER!!! DISGUSTING :-(
Very poor, and visibly run down and outdated..The room was disgusting and overall just bad...The only good thing was the free wifi connection in the lobby for me to have written this review...Suggestion-->Run and never look back.
I really did not believe the other reviews. After all, we were only going to stay overnight to catch a cruise ship. Everything you have read is true! This place is a dump run by folks who don't care about their customers. We had a reservation for 2 rooms and got there at 3 p.m. and they made us wait until 4 p.m. We asked if at least one of the rooms was ready because we wanted to put our luggage in that room and freshen up. We were told that there was a 25 early check-in fee. We declined the early check-in but asked to leave our bags with the valet. We were told that valet was 5 per bag. We had 3 bags and I gave the man a 20 bill. He then told me I owed him another 5 as I gave him a 10 bill. I told him that I only had 20 bills as I had just recieved the money from the ATM around the corner. The man then took our bags while at the same time telling the lobby that I had cheated him out of 5! When 4 p.m. came, and after we looked at the rooms, we attempted to check out and get the hold put on my credit card released. We were told that my credit card would still be charged as the rooms were non-refundable. Bottom line: it's a dump, the people are rude and dishonest: don't stay there.
