The property is extremely run down. The rooms were awful. The rooms had an odor, even though they were non-smoking. The drapes were dirty as was the carpet and the bed spread was old and stained. The bathroom was deplorable. The walls and ceiling were stained. The tub was stained and the caulking was dirty - there was long hair on the walls of the shower which hadn't been cleaned and the bathroom floor looked as if it had never seen a mop.The only positive was the location. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from and there was a convenient supermarket across the street. It was also within walking distance to the Yankee Spring Training camp and Legends Field.
There is nothing to say other than the staff are rude, the rooms are filthy, you feel dirtier coming out of the room than when you come in after travelling all day...if it was not for so many full hotels, i would have left. I have never in my life staying in a place that was so ill kept. It should be condemned it is so bad....the Days Inn franchise should be embarrassed to have such a hotel with its name on it. Never will I ever stay in such a place again...i did not sleep due to fear and bad beds....and the smell, everyone is right, it is the worst i have ever smelt in my life...this hotel should be shut down and demolished...online travel should not even list it on the site.
Found sand on the bed first, then changed to another room, and it had hairs all over the bed sheets and a bug that resembled a bed bug in the bathroom. It was a terrible night for 12 of us. I will never stay in a days inn again. I was so disappointed in this place. We stayed the night before we caught a cruise the next day. Horrible experience and I booked the hotel, and I let my friends and family down.
You'll get sick from the stench. It's across the street from the strip club, with many shady characters around. My husband doesn't have allergies, and even he said the 10 cans of cheap air freshener they must have sprayed in the room was making him literally sick. Our throats burned, my face wsa swelling up, and I could still taste it the next morning. Six ""ladies"" seemed to conducting business out of the room across from us. Worst place we have EVER stayed. First time we've EVER left during the night to go stay elsewhere. You've been warned. June 20, 2007
The appearance of the desk clerks was unprofessional. The room door had a space at the bottom wide enough for a small rodent to enter. The room smelled awful and that was the best part. The ironing board was broken and unusable. The bathtub ran rusty water. There was mildew everywhere. The morning wakeup call was delivered by several large insects crawling over us. The water in the pool was green. This was the worst hotel stay I have had in the past 30 years. Don't stay there.
Lamp had exposed wires when you reach under shade to turn switch. Thick mold on doors. Iron marks melted into carpet. Only one towel and cloth. Towel had yellow liquid dried on underside. Bath and carpet very grungy. Lock on door completely broken.
