Nice View
But poor service over all...looks just like a holiday inn once you get in side the rooms....loved the pool area
I WAS VERY VERY PLEASED WITH MY STAY AT THE TAHITIAN INN AND SPA. WONDERFUL STAFF. DINING IS WONDERFUL ATMOSPHERE AS WELL AND GREAT FOOD. WE DIDNT WANT TO LEAVE SO SOON. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT.
Our room had bugs, the bathroom is outdated, the fridge was frozen, no cable tv, noisy, no balconies, etc... This is a motel not a hotel. When we called the front desk to tell them about our room, the man said they were full & there wasn't anything he could do. Do not stay here!! There are rennovations going on there that aren't mentioned until you realize it once you are there. The place was also very dirty and needs to at least be powerwashed!
When cking in the manager on duty was more concerned with a wedding party than with regular guests. The room had only 3 towels and WE were required to obtain after asking for some to be brought to our room. No batteries in remote for Tv, no clock in room, no poolside bar service as advertised throughout the hotel...we had to go into the restaurant ourselves, again facing the importance of the wedding party going on.....we waited over 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. Beds were very uncomfortable and room was very musty smelling upon entering. When cking out we completed survey and asked that the owner/manager call us and of course we have not been contacted. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL
This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff was AMAZING! We got in really late because we had a bunch of problems at the airport and with the rental car. The guy at the front desk asked what was wrong that we looked so bedraggled and got in so late, we told him about our trouble and he upgraded our room out of pity. We were so impressed. Also, we got massages in the spa that were simply wonderful. Two thumbs way up.
I called the front desk to ask about the shower, which dribbled out and was lukewarm at best. The clerk there could care less. She said she hadn't received and other calls about the showers, as if that should have ended the conversation. She offered to have the maintenance man come to look at it at 10am the next morning. I had no other choice, since she also let me know that the hotel was fully occupied and so I couldn't be moved to another room. I went to bed irritated and unshowered, after a long night at a wedding reception and then out at a smoke-filled club. The next morning, realizing that 10am was a long way off and that checkout was at 12:00, and even if the maintenance guy came, he'd probably be able to do nothing to help the situation, I called the front desk again and asked about a shower in their "spa". The clerk said there was one in the gym locker room, as well as a steam room, that I could use. Why hadn't SHE thought of that, and offered it to me the night before?? I used the gym shower and steam room and checked out, disappointed in the room and the lack of interest in my comfort displayed by the front desk clerk. Incidentally, the maintenance guy never showed up, as far as I know. He was, however, banging away on something on the first floor of the hotel, for about an hour. That was fun. Needless to say, I won't be staying there again.
We are from Romania, fro de first time in USA. We choice Tahitian INN for de medium prices and the locations. It was a great choice; We had a good vacation; everything it was good.
