Excellent Historic Place To Stay For Anyone
I loved the location- within walking distace of the St Pete nightlife, and also the daytime attractions such as the restaurants, shopping, and ...
I grew up in this area, and have always wondered what it would be like to stay at the Grayls Hotel. My sister-in-law, nephew, and myself finally had the chance while introducing my grandparents to their new great-grandson. It was wonderful. Easy walking access to dining and entertainment. The room was very cute. Not at all cookie cutter like some other hotels in the area. The staff was friendly. And the breakfast spread was perfect for adults and for little-ones. Be sure to visit the Gelato shop next door!
This hotel is a great way to get away from the more usual 'modern' accommodation and into a refined atmosphere. Although not cheap our suite was without fault. The complimentary breakfast well stocked and satisfying. The hotel is well positioned for the Maina and Downtown with 'trolly' stop outside. My only crib was having to pay to park the car!! (But then my sons tell me i'm better protected than a duck.)The security arrangements are a reassuring extra.
