The GullWing Beach Resort is located on Fort Myers Beach, just off the coast of Fort Myers, only 24 miles southwest of Southwest Florida International Airport and on the quiet south end of Estero Island. Local attractions include the Everglades National Park is 60 miles, Manatee World is 27 miles, and Sanibel Island is 15 miles away.Hotel amenities include a barbecue at the beachside gazebo, pool with tropical view, an outdoor whirlpool spa, cabana rentals, fitness center, volleyball, tennis, DVD rentals, conference facilities, golf nearby, water sports and fishing charters nearby, activity programs and fine dining and shopping are just minutes away.GullWing offer one, two and three bedroom condominium suites that include private screened balconies, Jacuzzi tubs, dining room, living room with wet bar, washer and dryer and fully appointed kitchens with a pass through breakfast bar, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, cookware and coffee maker. Please note that the Front Office is open daily from 8:00 a. - 10:00 p. If you plan to arrive after 10:00 p., please retain this important information. Your keys will be located in the lock box next to the building's main entrance. You will need to provide them with your last name or confirmation number and they will then provide you with the combination for that day. Enter the combination then push up and pull down to open the lock. You will find an envelope with your name on the front. This envelope will contain keys that will unlock the front door as well as the door to your suite. Please re-scramble the combination and re-lock the box. Please stop by the Front Desk to formally register by 10:00 a. the following morning.

The perfect hotel! The GullWing is right on the beach, very quiet (construction next door is complete), lovely views, and uncrowded. The room was beautiful, HUGE (seating for 14 at the table, bar and counter, plus 6 on the patio), and super-clean. Free extras in your room: laundry soap, dryer sheets, (washer/dryers are in the units), paper towels, dishwasher detergent, dishtowels. Can't wait to go back!
The rooms are excellent but the view is terrible. I ask on three seperate occassions if there was a gulfview in a one bedrrom and was told there was however when I arrived, there was not. The ""gulfview"" is the condo on either side of Gullwing. It was VERY frustrating to say the least.
The condos are great but be warned that only the 3 bedrooms have direct gulf views. Our 2 bedroom was an island view with tons of construction noise (jackhammering) from the condo remodeling next door.
