The Pink Shell Beach Resort is situated directly on Fort Myers Beach between Sanibel and Naples, on the northern tip of Estero Island, and approximately 16 miles from Southwest Florida International Airport. Hotel amenities include multilingual staff, guest laundry, valet service, marina dockage facilities, barbecue area, picnic tables, 200ft fishing pier, KiddsKampp, and butterfly garden. Recreational facilities include three heated pools, beach volleyball, and lounges, umbrellas and chairs at the beach, arcade game room, fitness center, gift shop, supervised childrens activites and much more. The Aquagene Spa features 6,000 square feet of state-of-the-art spa facilities including 12 treatment rooms. Dining is available at Bongos Bar & Grill and JoJos at the Beach and Jacks Seaside Grill. Guest rooms are spacious condo style and feature refrigerators, cook-tops, toasters, microwaves, dishes and cookware, coffeemakers, LCD flat screen TVs, dataports, telephones, AM/FM alarm clock radios, large walk in shower, hairdryers, irons, ironing boards, and in-room safes. All reservations are subject to a 9.00 per night resort fee plus 11% tax which will be applied to your stay. The resort fee includes: unlimited local and 1-800 phone calls, high speed Internet access, daily newspaper, beach and pool towels, in-room safe, self parking, use of steam room and sauna. Children under 5 years receive complimentary breakfast. Rate includes breakfast for two (per reservation) daily and two welcome cocktails (two per stay).

It was a great place to relax and the room was perfect. Gulfview from all rooms means you don't pay extra. Buffett breakfast was great. The only draw back was our room key did not work three of the four days there. That was a hassle and I read about it in reviews before I booked, not thinking that I would be standing outside my room and have to go to another building to get another one. Surely this resort has the knowledge to fix this as it continues to appear in reviews. I would stay here again with no hesitation.
Our room was spotless on arrival and stayed that way every day. JoJo's has great food. The breakfast buffet at Jack's was super. You can't beat the view. Our end was quiet and peaceful. The staff was attentive and friendly. We had a wonderful week and can't wait to go back next year.
Although we liked the hotel, we were pressured into upgrading our room as it was going to be so much better for a special price. We were given several options w/ several different prices depending on amenities like a "lanai". We had booked a room w/ 2 queens but they turned out to be doubles. Our upgraded room had a separate king bedroom but the living kitchen dining other bed area was too small to fit my family of 4. The lanai was also too small to permit 4 people to stand outside. We had trouble eating, playing games etc. The rooms w/o seperate bedrooms looked much bigger and had a dining table. It is also confusing as the hotel is made up of 4 or 5 different hotels that they bought up and combined so each building is different. The location was excellent and the beach fantastic. hope this helps. call to confirm beds.

The hotel was very clean and new. The staff couldn't do enough for us, they alwas wanted to do more. My wife and I haven't been more relaxed or as rested in any of our past vacations. The breakfast buffet was awsome and the food was great. I will strongly recommend the Pink Shell to everyone. We can't wait to return.
it was a beautiful hotel, right on the beach. its about forty minutes from the airport, i suggest renting a car because the cab will cost you about sixty bucks. All rooms have a full kitchen, but the store is kinda far to walk. there is a trolley service though. the menu is somewhat limited and high priced, so if your staying for a while id stock up on groceries. The overall quality of the food was excellent and you receive complementary breakfast buffet vouchers for each morning. The beach was breathtaking with soft white sand. They also have jet ski, and parasailing activities, but beware of the "choppy" surf. The pool was wonderfull, it has a waterfall in the center. Also there was poolside food and drink service which was a plus. If you have kids this is the place to be! thay have daily activities for them from sundaes to craft making to movies and a dance party. Definately kid friendly! All in all when the day coms that we have kids we will be coming back
