Hotel was close to the beach, it had free cookies (which were gone after 5 minutes), water, coffee and popcorn. Pool was ok, a bit dirty. Rooms weren't nice at all, terrible beds, bad plumbing, overall the room was dirty. Would not stay there again because there were hotels of the same quality right on the beach.
We received a warm welcome and a room which was relatively soundproof and had comfortable beds - not too firm, and not too soft. Breakfast was substantial with fare that seems to be standard in Holiday Express Inns, and there were two rooms so seating was not a problem. There were many families with children who seemed to enjoy the pool. There were two medium sized washers and driers that took quarters on the second floor, and two elevators for ease of access to rooms. Parking was available on both sides of the hotel. Restaurants were vvery accessible and plentiful, Westfield Mall was nearby, and beaches could be accessed easily. The airconditioning in the room was good. The hotel did not seem to be overly new, but was clean and neat. We would have liked to have stayed longer.
This hotel is near plenty of restaurants and shopping and is right next to one of the bridges to Siesta Key. We stayed in a Non-Smoking King-Size Bed room that was just like the pictures seen on the website. We would recommend this hotel to any friends/family that came to visit and we would also stay again :)
Excellent place for a short stay. Clean, friendly, and a good value. Because of the traffic on Rt 41, not overly close to downdown. The hotel is also "old school" when it comes to the rooms. The rooms are open air entry(i.e. doors open to the outside world), which could be more of a security concern. However, in this particular case, no problems.Nice Pool
