We stayed here 2 years ago when visiting my daughter. It was clean, nice room and pleasent. This time we were given a small room, 1st floor, in back that smelled like cigarette smoke and had a burn on the featherbed. We did ask for another one and reluctently were give a different 2nd floor room that was damp but better. The second day we were there minimal cleaning was done, coffee replenished but no cups, Kleenex Water smelled. Would not stay here again.
The rooms are very quiet. The front desk staff were very nice and helped answer any of my questions. This stay was better than expected.
I went to Sarasota for business and stayed at the AmericInn. The hotel was very clean and well kept and the decor was beautiful. I loved the beds and the down comforters and the Perkins room service was perfect after a long day. The staff was freindly and very helpful. The AmericInn was a wonderful place to stay.
Th e rooms here were regular type not suites although they did have micro/fridges. Desk was very small,no couch or recliner. Breakfast was good with nice lobby. I stayed here due to location and I couldn't get into my preferred place in the area.
This is a lovely, well run hotel with good amenities--frig, microwave, laundry room, and pool. The breakfast is great and the staff helpful. I felt safe and well taken care of.
