I was in Sarasota overnight on my way to see family, and booked last minute via Travel website. The price was right, and after reading others reviews, it seemed like a nice hotel. Holiday Inn did not disappoint. Everything was beyond what I expected from a chain hotel. The room was well appointed: the beds were quite comfortable, bathroom was huge with great toiletries from the Body Shop, free wifi in the room - all I had to do was turn on my laptop. I meant to go down to the pool or fitness center but, after a full day of travelling, I never made it. Front desk staff was very friendly. Would definitely reccommend.
The hotel experience that my husband and I had here was great. It was nice, quiet, and comfortable for the price that we paid. The rooms were neat and clean, the receptionist provided quality service and the restaurant was an excellent bonus for us. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely visit this hotel again.
While on business and a little pleasure with my family, we arrived at the hotel with a warm hospitable welcome from the front desk. It seemed throughout our stay that the hotel staff was extremely happy and knowledgeable about the area. Alamo Steakhouse is a must! Being from cattle country, I know a great steak. The Alamo has it, and buffalo steaks! It's no wonder that this hotel is an award winning hotel for the past 6 years. A charming gentleman told me that the hotel is ranked in the top 10 of all Holiday Inns in North America and the Alamo Steakhouse is ranked number 8 in North America. The hotel is located on the county line of sarasota and manatee counties set back from I-75.
