The proximity to Centennial Olympic park was great. It was very nice to just walk out the door and have the fountains and two playgrounds to use. Afternoon cookies and beverage in the lobby was a nice treat. The only thing we were less than thrilled with was the mandatory valet at a day. I regularly use valet and bellhops when traveling without my husband but like to have a choice to do so. We would definately stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.
We chose the hotel for it's close proximity to everything downtown. We only spent one night but it was worth it. The personnel at the front desk were very friendly. We missed the breakfast buffet, but the restaurant in the other tower was very good and the service was excellent. The hotel was nice and convenient and I would definitely stay here again.
Stayed here for the chick-flia bowl. Right next to the World Congress Center and the Dome. Valet parking was great and fast service. Cost 25.00 per night was a little high, but hey, you're in Atlanta. Rooms were comforable. Will stay here again.
This hotel was very nice. I enjoyed the fact that it is just a stones throw from the Georgia Dome, Phillips Arena, Turner Field, the Sundial Resturant, etc. The hotel was very nice except for the fact that they put us in a room without a view of anything but a large empty room. Also do not stay in room 441 because this room is right next to the Janitors' closet and the janitors will be literally slamming things around ALL NIGHT. But other than that very nice hotel.
I vist Atlanta atleast 4 times a year. I stay at the Omni everytime. I always get the room I ask for. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms are always clean. The location is great. I go to hockey games at Phillips Arena. You don't even have to walk outside. There is a food court and Jock n Jills right there. I would greatly recommend this hotel to anyone!! It doesn't get much better than this.
The king size mattress on the bed should be thrown out along with the feather pillows. We had feathers flying in the air all night.I The air conditioning vent was beside the window which caused the drapes to cling to the return....making a noise all night. Location next to the CNN center was nice. Very convenient to the World Congress Center. The nicest person there was the bellman. He was very helpful. The only reason to stay again would be for the convenient location to the Congress Center.

Great hotel for business
If you're looking for a classy and comfortable hotel in the center of town, this is a great choice. I just stayed there for 2 nights and found the service, food, decor, fitness center, and other amenities to be top notch. The hotel is attached to CNN World Headquarters so you can stroll past the studios, take a tour, or shop without leaving the hotel.
