This was my first stay in a motel in a while and I was not quite familiar with for example the key to get in, which now is just a smart card with a magnetic strip. Would have been nice if the staff gave me some info on the whole procedure but I figured it out myself, no big deal. But they could have informed me on where and how the "hi speed" internet was and how to connect to it. They also could have informed me where and what is for breakfast. ...When I walked into my room it was dark and one of the light switches did not work, ...had to plug the lamp into a different switch. ...When I turned on the AC unit there was a foul odor and when I inspected the unit it was obviously plugged up and the filter was never cleaned, ...doesn't anyone check these things? ...The pillows were the worst I have ever layed my head on. ...Walls are thin and I could hear other people talking in there rooms. And the traffic on the road was very audible and woke me up in the early AM. ...The rooms are dark and dreary and for * a night I expected something a little nicer and the staff to be more informative. This was rated as a 2 star motel but should be rated as a 1 star imo.
