We were very pleased with the comfort of our room and help we recieved from the staff about getting around in Savannah. We were treated like very special guests. The location could not be beat - the car was parked for us and we could walk to anything we wanted to see. The Pink House Restaurant next door was a taste and visual treat. Highly reccommend this hotel for those who would like to leave their troubles behind and just have a wonderful time in Historic Savannah.

I thought it was just going to be a small hotel but was very surprised how well we were taken care of. To the bath robes in the room to the cheese and wine in the afternoon. I will be back again. My room looked out over the garage area but that didn't really bother me.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. We found the staff generally friendly. We found the staff, mainly the conceriege, very disorganized and not helpful at all. I actually had an accident while in my hotel room, which was promptly reported to the staff and in which I asked them to provide a rubber mat for a very slippery tub, and got no assistance. We expected to rely on the conceirge for suggestions and assistance and she was inefficient and amazingly unhelpful.

The wife and I went to Savannah for our 10 year wedding anniversary; the trip location was a surprise. We were both pleased with The Planters Inn. It contained the achitectural detail and style that harkened to a more romantic era. The service was good, though slow at times. We liked our room a great deal, though it was smaller than what we were accumstomed. My only real complaint was that it was very easy to hear everything on the streets below; maybe insulated windows would help. Overall, a good experience!
